Hello! I'm Carla Amaro, and my passion for creativity has been the compass that has guided my entire life. Currently, I find myself immersed in the world of art as a self-taught multidisciplinary artist. I am a tireless explorer of different forms of artistic expression.
I'm originally from Silves, in the Algarve. I currently live and work in Lisbon.
I have a degree in Industrial Design from IADE and Contemporary Jewellery from Contacto Direto.
For approximately 15 years, I maintained a store/atelier in Príncipe Real, where I practiced my art as a jeweler and creator of fashion accessories, enjoying artistic independence.

My incessant curiosity for different techniques and materials led me to venture into ceramics, initially at the Lisbon artisans' association and, later, at Cécile Mestelan's studio. At every opportunity, I took the opportunity to expand my horizons, seeking inspiration from the nature that I love so much.
Currently, I have rediscovered an old passion: painting. It became a regular practice, exploring different mediums, watercolor being my favorite. My work is an experimental and diverse symphony, where my true passion is reflected in the exploration of materials, revealing often surprising combinations and results.
My constant search for knowledge and artistic development led me to attend online workshops with several visual artists, complementing my initial training. Currently, I dedicate most of my time to painting, delving into watercolors and mixed techniques, in a more abstract approach, an artistic expression inspired by nature, which is my eternal muse.
As an artist, I hope my art surrounds you with good energy and inspires positivity. May it be a source of creativity for you, contributing to a new contemplative approach to appreciating nature. Olá! Sou Carla Amaro, e a minha paixão pela criatividade tem sido a bússola que guiou toda a minha vida. No presente, encontro-me imersa no mundo das artes como uma artista multidisciplinar autodidata. Sou uma exploradora incansável de diversas formas de expressão artística.
Sou natural de Silves, no Algarve. Atualmente, resido e trabalho em Lisboa.
Sou formada em Design Industrial pelo IADE e Joalharia Contemporânea pela Contacto Direto.
Durante aproximadamente 15 anos, mantive uma loja/atelier no Príncipe Real, onde exerci a minha arte como joalheira e criadora de acessórios de moda, desfrutando da independência artística.

A minha curiosidade incessante por técnicas e materiais diversos levou-me a aventurar-me na cerâmica, inicialmente na associação dos artesãos de Lisboa e, posteriormente, no atelier de Cécile Mestelan. A cada oportunidade, aproveitei para expandir os meus horizontes, buscando inspiração na natureza que tanto amo.
Atualmente, redescobri uma paixão antiga: a pintura. Tornou-se uma prática regular, explorando diversos meios, sendo a aguarela o meu favorito. O meu trabalho é uma sinfonia experimental e diversificada, onde a minha verdadeira paixão se reflete na exploração de materiais, revelando combinações e resultados muitas vezes surpreendentes.
A minha busca constante por conhecimento e desenvolvimento artístico levou-me a frequentar workshops online com diversos artistas plásticos, complementando a minha formação inicial. Atualmente, dedico a maior parte do meu tempo à pintura, mergulhando em aguarelas e técnicas mistas, numa abordagem mais abstrata, uma expressão artística inspirada na natureza que é a minha eterna musa.
Como artista, espero que a minha arte vos envolva com boas energias e inspire positividade. Que ela seja uma fonte de criatividade para vocês, contribuindo para uma nova abordagem contemplativa ao apreciar a natureza.
